MouCo is a Fort Collins-based cheese company that has been churning out soft ripened cheese since 2001. Derived from the words Mountain and Colorado, but pronounced MooCo as an homage to the cows that helped create it, They pick up the milk from a local farm with their own little milk truck and produce bloomy-rind and washed-rind soft rounds of Camembert and Brie-style cheeses a few times a week. Their award-winning cheeses can be found at King Soopers, Whole Foods and Safeways around the Front Range.

In 1959, Kiyota Greenhouses Inc. opened with one greenhouse a few miles southwest of Platteville, about 50 feet wide and 100 feet long. Now, more than 50 years later, one greenhouse has grown to 15 to 20 greenhouses and it is still family-owned and operated. Kiyota Greenhouses has both a wholesale and retail market business, providing several nurseries, landscape companies and flower shops with product, in addition to customers who come to the greenhouses to get their hanging and bedding plants, as well as vegetables.
